Welcome to St. Mary’s school Nairobi, a school with a rich cultural tradition blended in the academic and co-curricular activities. St. Mary’s boasts of the solid Christian foundation planted by the Holy Ghost Fathers since her inception in 1939. Started primarily to offer Catholic education to the many White settlers just as the Second World War was beginning the school gradually become a great school that embraces all races, religions and cultures.
A walk round the school buildings with the famous twin towers, the staff quarters, the swimming pool, the vast neatly kept sports fields, the rich flora and fauna found in our forest and camping site gives you the serenity that beckons you to be a “Saint”.
The Saints guided by the love of God and neighbour, the school motto ‘Bonitas, Disciplina, Scientia’ and the school song strive for excellence in all spheres of life after receiving an all round formation.
With the varied curricula on offer: the Kenyan 8-4-4 system, the International Graduate Certificate of Secondary Education and the International Baccalaureate Diploma our students are well equipped to embrace the world and contribute to its well being after their sojourn in this great school.
